Exhibitions at the Biosphere Reserve

To be recognised by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve, an area must have, among other things, special environmental features and an information centre.

In our exhibitions you can learn about what environmental features make the Biosphere Reserve Elbe River Landscape one of the last near-natural riverine landscapes in Central Europe, what the history and present of the Elbe region is all about, and which actors are active here.
In addition, we have information on tourism and excursions to the surrounding area for you.
